Level 0 (Starting from scratch)

This course will help you master the foundations of Arabic reading and writing, preparing you to either read the Quran independently or continue with more advanced Arabic studies. You will study & practice using our exclusive Arabic101 material, specially made for learners who learn Arabic as a second language by experienced teachers. The course also includes regular quizzes and progress checks, especially for students in the Excellence and Legacy plans, which allow for more personalized support.

  • Identify and write all Arabic letters in isolation and in connected form
  • Recognize and apply all type of Arabic diacritics with proper pronunciation

Level 1 (Beginner)

This comprehensive, well-structured course is built around the Madinah Arabic Course Books to guide learners from absolute beginner to advanced Arabic proficiency. Whether your goal is reading classical or modern texts, mastering grammar, writing clearly, or understanding formal Arabic discourse, the program’s four sequential levels allow you to begin at the stage that matches your current ability.

At each level, you’ll work through the dedicated Madinah course materials β€” lessons, grammar and morphology exercises, reading passages, and writing practice β€” and receive continuous feedback and guidance from a qualified instructor. This ensures steady progress and helps cement your understanding, making it an ideal path toward full mastery of Arabic grammar, reading, writing and comprehension.


Covers: Madinah Reader Books 1 & 2 (the equivalent of β€œoriginal” Book 1)

  • Recognize and write Arabic alphabet; read with vowels correctly.

  • Form simple sentences: descriptions, questions, simple statements.

  • Use present and past tense verbs in simple sentences; begin to understand verb conjugations.

  • Write short paragraphs and short dialogues: simple description, personal introduction, daily routines.
  • Hold basic everyday conversations in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA): introducing oneself, describing people/places, basic requests.
  • Expand vocabulary to cover everyday contexts, family, common actions, basic adjectives and adverbs.

  • Master complex grammatical constructs: advanced verb patterns, passive/active voice, verbal nouns (masdar), advanced syntax.

  • Write full essays, summaries, short articles β€” with proper syntax, cohesion, and stylistic awareness.
  • Communicate in MSA with fluency: discuss abstract topics, give opinions, engage in semi-formal dialogues, and understand formal speech.
  • Build a large vocabulary spanning formal, academic, religious, and literary contexts.
