Quran Mastery Track – From Basics to Ijazah

This complete and well-structured program is designed to help students build their Quran recitation skills from scratch to full mastery (itqaan), including the opportunity to earn an Ijazah in recitation or memorization. This course consists of four progressive levels. A student may start at any stage depending on their current level and their objective. In this course, learners will use Arabic101’s exclusive materials based on the stage they are at and will always be accompanied by a certified teacher’s feedback, which is the main essence of Quran learning with a shaikh.

This course will help you master the foundations of Arabic reading and writing, preparing you to read the Quran independently. You will study & practice using our exclusive Arabic101 material, specially made for learners who learn Arabic as a second language by experienced teachers. The course also includes regular quizzes and progress checks, especially for students in the Excellence and Legacy plans, which allow for more personalized support.
🎯 What you'll achieve at the end of the course (in shaa Allah):
- Identify and write all Arabic letters in isolation and in connected form
- Recognize and apply all type of Arabic diacritics with proper pronunciation
- Learn basic reading concepts e.g. hamzat al-waṣl, hamzat al-qaṭ‘, shamsiyyah and qamariyyah laam rules
- Read and pronounce simple Arabic words and sentences without assistance
- Learn basic Arabic vocabulary to read, understand and formulate simple Arabic sentences
- Practice reading and understanding A1 level texts
- Pass a final examination demonstrating foundational literacy and fluency

- All Tajweed rules at an intermediate level
- Able to recite 100% of the Quran correctly and fluently without mistakes.
- The students has acquired the basics of (Makharij) and characteristics (Sifaat) of all letters
- The student is able to recognize common recitation mistakes and fix them
- The student has learned the basics of proper stopping and resuming
- The student has accumulated a balanced mix of Tajweed theory and hands-on recitation

🎯 What you'll achieve at the end of the course (in shaa Allah):
- Recitation Ijazah: Prove your ability to recite the Quran from cover to cover with full accuracy and receive official certification from a qualified teacher.
- Memorization Ijazah: For students who have memorized the full Quran and meet all criteria for accurate and fluent recitation. Certification links your name to a chain of narration (Sanad) back to the Prophet ﷺ
📜 Requirements to obtain your ijazah:
- For Recitation Ijazah:
o Completion of the Itqaan level
o Mastery of chosen Tareeq (Shateebiyyah, etc.)
o Ability to apply all Tajweed rules correctly
o Readiness for full testing
- For Memorization Ijazah:
o Complete memorization of the Quran
o Strong and accurate recitation
